This is bizarre, but it really does work (worked on mine and my dads phone anyway..)

Put it in the freezer for 24hrs (And DO NOT touch it until the 24hrs is up) Then defrost it for about 3 days, And again, Don't touch it when you do that...

Well yes, in case someone has some weird tricks to make it work. It's still not working after 2 days, so I'll start trying things soon, when I have nothing to lose.
