It should be 16. I'm mature enough to make a decision like that, but I don't really like any of the parties tbh.

It wont happen. Id like to vote too, but...

Too much pressure from parents. Think about it, basically every kid is going to vote for the same person their parents vote for, out of choice or out of pressure from a parent. That would really skew the vote dont you think? But mostly 18 year olds are out of the house and on their own and make their own choice.

Parents can pressure their children to vote for a certain party all they want really, but it's the children who are voting... whatever they decide when they're at the hall place is up to them.
Their parents can't actually do the voting for them... plus voting is supposed to be kinda secret.
So I disagree with what you say. XD

I'm old enough to vote, and will vote next time.
I'm not that into politics but i'd like to have some kind of influence on the way the country is run. Even if it's by just one vote.

I threw it all away, now I'm nothing
I let you slip away, now I'm nothing

That still doesnt change that most kids have the same political opinion as their parents. Im not saying pressure as in theyre making them do it, Im saying pressure to vote for the same thing their parents did. Im sure everyone on this forum would vote for the same person their parents did, volentarily. So that just means there are more votes with the same outcome.
