    Default Help Urgent!!!

    Me and my Girlfriend live quite far from each other, Her Parents are a bit overprotective, So they wont let her come down on the train to see me for a few days, My Parents think its fine, I go on the train to a lot of places, But i need help in persuading her parents to let her come down to Mine, all help will be very much appreciated and + Rep for Any Good Help

    why dont you go to hers?

    If her parents are protective of her it's going to be very hard! For now, I think you should go up there when you can, that way; her parents can get to know and trust you! When they begin to trust you, they may feel better letting their daughter go on a train to yours.

    I cant go to hers cos it is my birthday this week and my mum wants me to be at home, thats why my parents dont mind her coming to stay with me

    I think you should try and get your parents to speak directly to hers then? Let them explain that they are fine with making sure she is safe at yours and they will do their very best to look after her.
    I think they would feel more comfortable with adults saying that she is safe going to yours than from you. (though admittedly I don't know your age :p)

    Okay like I said, as parents they have a right to be protective. Let your parents give her's a call and let them explain she'll be fine.
