    Default Top 5 Horror Films

Whats the scariest, creepiest, spookiest, terrifing film you have ever seen? My Top 5 has to be:

    1. The Excorcist (Hell this film is freakying Terrifing! And is the only film in exsitance that has been annoced as 'Evil' by the Catholic Church, I dont care what people say, this is the scariest film of all time)
    2. The Shining
    3. Salems Lot Part 1 & 2 (That boy tapping on the window has my curtains closed for over 3 weeks lol)
    4. Halloween (The original one, not the trashy sequals)
    5. Nightmare On Elm Street ( Again The Original One)

And Just for the record my Top 5 worst horror films is:

    1. My Little Eye (Who the hell put this into production!)
    2. White Noise (Huge dissapointment, I thought there would be more to it than just three men stealing wives)
    3. The Cave (What a load of crap)
    4. Nightmare On Elm Street 6 ('They saved the best till last'- Movie Tagling, yes they sure did, and now I just leave)
    ...
    5. Halloween 8 (Please stop making these sequals!)

    Top 5 Horror Movies:

    1. Aliens (I usually hate sequels to classic movies, especially when it's a Horror movie. But this sequel just beats them all, this is a Horror Classic in so many ways.)
    2. Alien (Man, when I first saw Alien I was scared to go outside during the night - no joke. Sigourney Weaver plays a great Heroine and I really like how she added great intensity to this film.)
    3. Les Diaboliques (I don't mean the ****** remake for this, this is the one from 1955. I fished it up 3 years ago and it really was well done for it's time. Horror movies were at their best in the 50s, 60s, and Low-Mid 70s.)
    4. Psycho (This is Alfred Hitch****'s best film. It's not high on blood or gore since it's in black and white, but the suspense of the film replaces the lack of blood and gore.)
    5. The Shining (The ORIGINAL with Jack Nicholson. You can feel Wendy's struggle with her crazy husband throughout the movie, and that's something I don't find too often in good movies.)

    Lowest 5 Horror Movies:

    1. House of the Dead (I won't waste my time writing reasons for why this movies are plain terrible, I will just say that they all suck.)
    2. King Cobra
    3. Alone in the Dark
    4. The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre
    5. Teen Wolf Too

    Not in any order.
    -Texas chainsaw massacre (Original...the music...the ******s...)

-The wicker man (The original...Warped countryfolk, naval tubes on graves, being burnt alive by christopher lee - scary enough?)

    -The birds (it's the beaks!)

    -Nightmare on elm street

    -Ringu

There was also one I watched YEARS ago, that scared the hell out of me (But I was only a kid) called "The Burning"
"IT" also scared me when I was a kid, but now I've seen Tim Curry in Rocky Horror Picture show, IT just makes me laugh too much :x

And just to add...Nightmare On Elm Street 2 is FAR worse than 6!

Personally speaking, the Americanised Ring movies are terrible.

I'm an EXTREME lover of horror movies - it's way too hard to pick a top five.
