Depends how its cooked but usually chinese food has alot of fat in ti. Prawn crackers have tonnes of fat. If you cook food at home with small amounts of oil it would be healthier.

I don't suppose so. I've never had a mein of any type in my life, so I don't know what they or how they're cooked etc. But because it's chicken, I'm going to say yes =]

Sushi isn't fattening, it doesn't taste of anything either.

It depends. The majority of chinese food you buy, like the noodles in the chow mein will have been cooked in oil in a wok or something, or if you eat somethign like a spring roll - it's been deep fried. Most takeaways are generally fattening yes, due to the way they cook them for quickness.

Noodles are fried so it has fat in it, and alot of calories, and chicken is good for you, but if its fried then its not..
Erm, overall, it's bad for you..

Heh, don't go for takeout. Cook your own Chinese dishes. Some are healthy (And DELICIOUS). Think about it like this: Are all Chinamen Overweight/Obese/Whales? Nope.

You can easily make homecooked Chinese food healthy. Take-aways are unhealthy and yes, are fattening.

Chicken is a very healthy meat, it's probably actually the best for consumption, alongside turkey.
Chicken is fattening though because of the amount of proteins, but if you go to the gym, then eating a lot of chicken, building the proteins and burning it off generates muscle. It's by far the top meat for muscle-mass.

    ...Oops...perhaps I've gone a little off-topic.

Sushi is Japanese my dear. But I guess you can say it's just about the same as chinese food.

Heh, being in Singapore you can find chinese food almost everywhere at a very cheap price.

And yes, some chinese food are, some aren't. But I've seen them use loads of oil. :x
