Hi i'm new to coding, i've read SlicingGuide.com and I understand it but, I don't get what the slices are for, do u need to slice a spasific part or is it for when ure coding the image into the table.

Can anyone find a video of someone coding or post a small simple layout that I could try and slice and code, thanks. Help would be useful.

Well slices are basically breaking your image into multiple images so its useable.

Slices are so you arn't loading a full image, you load broken down images. Plus, it is easier when you want a iframe so you just code over it in dreamweaver.

    I know now, thanks.

I was just wondering, I might rejoin habbo and make a mafia, then make a runescape related site.
