Default My Teacher Lost My Essay...

IF YOU CAN NOT BE BOTHERED TO READ ALL, I WILL HIGHLIGHT IMPORTANT PARTS

Well, before I broke up for the 6 weeks holiday, I handed in my final essay into my teacher to check, and I came back the following day to ask if she has read it, and to see if she could return it to me so I could rewrite it in neat, and she says "Sorry I lost it, I'll look for it at home." So I felt really ticked off, and began to help her to find it in the classroom, since I passed it her the previous day and she placed it on her desk. We didn't find it, so today, after the 6 weeks holiday, I once again asked if she had found it, and she says no, you will have to do it again. I felt really angry inside, but I couldn't unleash it, since I would probably get excluded. It took me quite a while to do it, and I was very proud of doing my best on it, and being the first to complete it. What would you do in this situation?

I'd personally go to the principal and tell them your teacher's a moron for losing it.

I think it's terrible, if it's for GCSE coursework (or higher), you'll have to do it again, but if not, I don't see why you should have to do it again.
    goodbye.

I would refuse m8 and say I gave it to you and therefore it was in your hands and your responsibility.

Hmm, thanks guys. I'll have to have a word with her about it. She said she will help me do it, but it was about 25 pages worth, and I'd rather just do the one I had handed in in neat, instead of redoing it all again. +rep added to all.
