Actually, I think your estimations were a little high.
All 80 rooms that are added to the Around The World In 80 Rooms Navigator Floor will win their owners (or the Habbo that found and submitted the room if the owner did not enter) a selection of Habbo Furni and a place in the Around The World Navigator Floor.
The phrase "Habbo Furni" was already in bold. Okay, this competition is a fun one, but if I was trading for furni to build a room, and giving a profit (because that's what I end up doing), then I figured I would not gain enough profit from getting in the top 80. I knew that getting into the final 8 would be extremely tough, so I didn't attempt to enter. The wording is quite clear. In the future, I would advise you to enter only for fun, or because of the prize stated. No where in that paragraph does it mention a badge, or a throne. It doesn't mention a red amber, either. I think it's good that Habbo are sticking to their prizes listed, as recently they've been going overboard, and people (such as you, dear) have been taking it for granted that they award better prizes than actually listed. Don't make assumptions beyond what it written in front of you, in future.

You can ask my ickle brother, Cod, because we both agreed on the fact that you would only get a few normal furni pieces. If it was a rare, it would have said so, or named the rare. Besides, they give enough rare items out for competitions as it is! I find it quite ironic (yet still funny). Maybe your "giveaway" strategy was a little flawed? Mr Rory - your room was certainly not the strongest there IMO, and to think it was is arrogant to say the least, unfortunately. You tried to sway votes through a giveaway, and consequently lost through this gamble. Fair play.

Wow, aiming high? Why would they give out 72 badges and 72 thrones to people who didn't even make it to the finals? That makes no sense :s Throne price would drop a ton because so many were given out.

Edit : Also, to the original poster, I think it's nice you atleast got something

I agree they are usually rubbish on prizes, i once got my room onto the pirate section and never recieved that prize.

Things seem to be improving, prehaps its lost_witness' influence!

The prize for that was only a skeleton!

no offence to those who came up wiv prize coz i suppose its better than nothing

but do they not know how long it tes to trade for all the stuff and make your room perfect and how hard it is to get selected for the atw contest

thry should of gave you a few rares or even just a months hc or even a couple of good norms

    but hey enjoy your prize

But just think if they gave a rare to the runners up the price would drop immensley as there would have to be 72 given out.

The thing is, they did have to give out the prizes, and it does suck that they didnt get something like 50 credits to spend how they choose or a voucher code even to redeem for 35 credits. I guess its better than nothing anyway!

But why should Habbo be stopped doing what they want to do because of rare values?

Yeah, I won a pirate prize for my room Cutthroat Island-Pirates Ahoy!! I was actually proud of my skeleton though, and I put it in that room, with a boasting sticky over the door!
