I think Jin was dealing with debates and setting everything up, maybe you can contact him about it.

I have spoken to him and he says he told Seacat he doesn't manage it any more or something like that .

Compleaty open debates openes up a far wide range of debateing topics though, haveing to wait for approvals just a waste of time, nearly every forum i know runs this feature in this way and has no problems from it.

Plus open debates has far more vbaried and interesting debates than the offical ones, which are always boaring generic ones "/

I asked Jin the other day whether he still wanted to run it and he said ask the community staff (ie Forum Moderators) so I've made a thread in the Forum Moderators Forum.

I'm keen to set it up again too because it's an interesting Forum, I don't like the idea of making it so anyone can start a debate when they want because the Forum will be full of useless debates and people won't debate one subject properly because they'll be debating a number of subjects at a time + It needs to be carefully Moderated incase it turns into an abusive argument.

We could have it so that there are a number of debates open at the same time, however if it was an open Forum and there were 50 running at once the Forum would get pointless.

I really don't understand what you are trying to say sometimes. What do you mean by that last sentence?

He means that he wants a forum for an example where this is happening. If not he can show you about 100 where it works effectively. I think
