Your choice if you want to fail art I guess.. however if you did a full study on the Scissor Sisters you'd do better. Emo isn't anything to do with art, the lyrics are the sort of thing any 12 year-old can come up with and the dress sense just makes people look anatomically wrong. The Scissor Sisters however are a pop-disco group (as I think someone mentioned) and are in fact, designers of their own clothing/style. They are more artistic than the entirety of emo put together.

If you can't even tell what's emo and what's not, may I ask why you're doing a project on it?

Proper emo has died out, now its just a fake fad which is more for fashion. But argh all this labelling makes my head explode. And there is a huge daddylong-legs thing with wings crawling across the wall

Emos nowadays listen to weak metal (tin?), or anything with the word "core" at the end.

Also, it's pretty clear that it's a fashion that changes, so doing an art project on it isn't the best of ideas. I have a much better idea for art: base it on an art movement.
