The site isn't a copy as I saw Ryan's wip of the site. The bars were totally hand made by him and so was the tutorial system, forum etc. So if people would stop saying it looks like TechTuts it would be much better as if you actually speak to the people involved and have a proper look it isn't the same as TECHTUTS!
