    something to do with the amount of Metal in the rivets to much Metal or too little will make it weak and also at the back of the ship the used a drill or something but at the front they couldn't get it in the hull there fore they put them on by hand and that meant that they could rip-off alot easier and when diaster struck all the rivets fell off so there you go

    Indeed. Another example you can use is a car crashing into a rock. The rock caused the crash, rather than a machine or a man getting out the car and dropping the rock on the car itself.

    Changing it to the Titantic...

    The iceburg caused it to sink, rather than the captain getting out of the bridge and dropping an iceburg in the water so he can go and hit it in a few moments later.
