However, what you must understand is that, however much we disagree with these people, all they are doing is expressing their beliefs. If WE start insulting THEM for what THEY believe then WE'RE bad also.

I'm not commenting on their beliefs, but it is inhuman for people to be celebrating the death of a old man with a horrible disease like parkinsons!

I agree, although, he wants to be revived, and it's his life and nobody has the right to take someones life, like that guy in america who pulled his own wifes plug just because she had a will to him for all her riches (she had something like £50,000, and valuable paintings and ornaments!)

As you all know, the pope is dieing. And even if you do not beilive or follow his religion, he is still human, and some of the things i have seen on other forums make me disgusted about our society today.

I was on a rangers forum (I do not support rangers) and looked at a thread, people were saying things like 'i hope the pope suffers and dies in pain', this person is inhuman, nobody should wish death upon people, or worse, dance a dance when an old man with a horrible disease is dieing right this minute. I quote This made me literally sick, knowing somebody could actually say those words, it is people like this that cause war. I also quote

I'm sorry to say this, but the society today is terrible, even if you don't agree with the pope sometimes does not mean he is a bad person and deserves to die, nobody deserves to die, and people making up stories and wishing death upon him makes me really sick. I think we should all show some dignity, he was such an influence towards us catholics, and he was a good man.

Unlike many people i dont see the popes death as anything particaly specal, Why would anyone wish someone whso never done anything to them to die, and why celibrate the death.

The pope was a big person to catholics, thats why his death is important, as it is important to alot of people, if someone dies somewhere else, we don't know he/she has died, so we cant really mourn, but the whole holly and jessica thing was also a big thing, and even although people didnt know them, doesn't mean they can't show some respect!
