I think it's kind of funny that a big complaint against my room is "There isn't any wallpaper or floor!" or "There aren't any rares in it!" It's not the amount of "valuable" items you can stuff into a room, but how you arrange them.

Mlp16, I saw your gardens before the competition began, and I did think that they were rather nice. I thought I would have a hard time winning against them, and there was also a very nice fort, but I can't find it anymore.

I think my room had a couple of good points that my have swayed the judges, and one was that it was made to represent a particular landmark in a certain city. I think specifically naming your room, say "Ryoanji Temple Garden, Kyoto, Japan" instead of "Japanese Garden" gets you points.

I think another reason may have been that I did manage to get a pretty decent room using only norms and seasonals, apart from the teleport.
