Fansite Rumours (NOT Like the Other Thread)

If you have visited http://habbovalley.com lately, you will notice the following piece of news written by the official fansite's owner, Onaedo:

Ever since Lost_Witness became hotel manager, fansites have been "locked out". I've wrote this review to explain to you what fansites are actually still active, and which ones aren't.

Note: The fansite page does say that any site that is down for more than 3 weeks, and has a lack of updates will be removed... doesn't seem that that rule applies to these fansites.


The Habbos
After recently being sold, and then scammed back into the hands of Ladders/Crud & Grinning, this fansite has been re-redesigned with the layout which they had before it was sold.

Bobbanet
Bobbanet has recently (within 1 or 2 days) been updated. They have just hired new staff members, and lost all of the inactive members. This flash based website is now hoping to come back with a vengence.

Habbo Paper
This fansite has just been updated with their newest layout, which doesn't look as if it's finished yet. Not really much to comment on.

Club Habbo
Although this fansite is updated often by it's owner SkaterChu, and his team... I, and many others dislike the fact that the layout is basically ripped from Habbo Hotel.

All Habbo
This fansite is another that was sold (as Habbling), and then scammed back in to the hands of it's owner, IceBox12. It was last updated on the 11th July (That's 3 months ago). This fansite should not be official.

V-Habbo
V-Habbo has been down for well over a month, and should not be official. I quote from :.Evan.: "I'm surprised V-Habbo is actually still official" - That explains a lot.

Habbo Works
Habbo-Works is probably one of the very few official fansites that has truly had a lot of effort put in to it. This fansite is updated daily, and has a very unique user system.

Robsladey
Apart from the owner being a stuck up idiot, this fansite isn't all bad. The only downsides to this fansite would be the fact that the layout is flat, and the security is poor.

Your Habbo
I'm not a big fan of YourHabbo, but it is a good fansite. It's regularly updated, but their layouts have never been in your face, they are very dull, but other than that it's ok.

Habbo Meadow
Along with a few of the other fansites, this one hasn't been updated in just over a month - Which is poor, it shouldn't be official.

Habbo Down
The Habbo Down team are very inconsiderate to their visitors feelings. They've been known to put people down for no apparent reason by posting very hurtful news posts. Other than that, this fansite is ok.

Hab-World
This fansite is another that hasn't been updated in donkeys years. This fansite shouldn't be official.

Habbo Central
I've never really connected with this site due to the lack of updates. At the moment it is closed... not sure whether this is permenant. This site should also be removed from the fansite list.

Habbo Valley
I won't comment much on Habbo Valley, as after all it is my fansite. I love it to pieces, and enjoy updating it constantly. My team are the main reason that Habbo Valley is what it is today.

Habbucks
Over the past month or so Mocolate has put a lot of effort in to his coffee/habbo styled fansite. He's currently re-writing his content... so at the moment there isn't much to see.

Habbo Forum
Habbo Forum was one of the first forums dedicated to Habbo to be released, and is still growing strong... despite many attempts to compromise its status.

Habbos
Habbos.ca/Habbos.net - Whichever it now is, is also a forum, which hasn't been open very long. It's name came from the formally named 'Habbos.co.uk' owned by pez which then closed. This website isn't as popular as many people make out.

Habbo Hut
Habbo Hut has been open for some time, and is one of the most known international Habbo radio stations on the web, however the layout is tacky, and it's rarely online.

Habbo FM
This radio is the only one that I actually listen to, the layout is great, however the site could do with more updates.

Habbar
I have to admit i do love Habbar - The little program that sites in the corner of your screen broadcasting from loads of different Habbo stations.

There we have it, the big review. Don't you think Lost_Witness needs to do something about these fansites? Many of them should be removed, as they are taking credit for the fansites who actually deserve officialness.

This is just my oppinion, but that's a little unfair for an official fansite to post that. They basically dissed every fansite. How do you guys feel about this? I just thought you might like to know, as many of you work on those fansites.

I just saw that as a blatant attempt to **** off other fansites ...

How can he say its made out to be more popular than it is? I consider any forum that has an average of around 30+ members online popular!

Alot of his allegations were false and to be honest, I wouldn't be too suprised if he got his status removed for that? He's slagging off other fansites in an attempt to make his more successful ... when you read his comments about habbovalley "I enjoy updating it regularly". Last time i checked, habbovalley was a boring as usual, nothing new of any interest, and most pages not even fully updated?

He can't really talk can he ...

I agree. Not enough to be removed, but enough to turn some heads. I personally don't have time to write something like that, nor does Sierk. I don't want to insult the guy incase he likes Habbox.

He obviously is not a believe of that comment. He sounds fairly selfish aswell, as if he thinks every habbo should be visiting his site ...

The layout isnt riped off Habbo, and is SUPPOSED to look similar to the homepage pmsl. Taking a look at Habbovalley, that just looks similar to clubhabbo but recoloured and a few boxes changed.

Also, If his site is so great.. why was he selling it the other week?

Isn't that an offense on the fansite way list? therefore I think a removal from the official list is in order?
