Smoking at school

I don't see how you all say smoking is bad, and "dis" the people who smoke.
If someone wants to smoke it's their choise?

And I bet their are no high-schools in the country that have children in that have never smoked.

If someone wants to smoke, that's fine, but don't do it around other non-smokers.... That annoys me more than anything, except for one thing -- When people start smoking in my car. I get VERY mad when that starts happening, usually won't take them anywhere after that ;l

Lol I'll always remember this one time a girl smoked during a history lesson in my class... lol was hilarious.

Same in my school - there's a wee area where the smokers go. It doesn't bother me as I keep clear of it, due to my strong disgust for smoking in general. I think if the person is over 16, then there shouldn't be a problem, but the school can't really do anything about it...

Haha, theres no where really to hide for them to go in our school, they try to do it around the side of the hensial block, but they always get caught

k, first things first. I hate smoking never tried, never will.

Right, theres a bunch of people at my school who go in the courner of the field every lunch and start smoking. The teachers all know cause they walk up to them and then they see 20+ people scattering everywhere from one place. A number of teachers while walking up to them passing me have said 'you watch they will all move when they see me'

Surley this can be a reason to expell them if not suspend them for a week or two? But they dont do anything so they just carry on smoking. It annoys me. Any views on this? Comment.

I find smoking at school funny, i dont smoke,neva will buut wha i find hilarious is the yr 7's how old r they 11? 12? not that old n they smoke nd they fink they r all 'ard' they wnt b 'ard' when they r older tho dying of lung cancer.

I used to smoke, yes I know it's stupid, hence why I quit, but I got caught smoking in the History corridor in school, cctv and evrything and all I recieved was 2 detentions, I thought I was going to get expelled, which I should have been.

People smoke at my school all the time, they go out of class and smoke. But the teachers can prove it unless they and another member of staff or student to admit [to witness] that the person was smoking. At the year 12 camp last year 3/4 of the year were taken home becasue they took something to get stoned and green out on.

A teacher admitted a few years ago there were people coming to school high, stoned, drunk etc. everyday and the staff couldnt do a thing about it! That surprised me.

If they are 16 its OK, and if they havent seen anything they can't prove it. Their life anyway, let them ruin their lungs.
