    I have tried

    deleting cookies
    temp internet folders n stuff
    different computer
    different user

    6. I cant download ie7 yet because it comes up with windows xp activation i can download it in a few days

    Ah right, so this delves deeper than just a browser issue, sounds like a TCP/IP settings issue
    Have you installed anything recently that might have changed these settings?
