I meant like setting some programs? I saw a thread about preventing lag by setting something in the Java client? I can't find the thread though.

Not having Windows Live/MSN Messenger helps me.
Also YouTube lags it a bit.
Funny Metacafe doesn't.. :S

Press CTRL + Alt + Delete, End Click on processes and then click the Username so it sorts it out with username first. Then end all processes apart from IExplore Explorer.exe. Mabye a few other programmes. But not Loaaads as that causes lag.

Msn used to lag me up... just close all other programs while you're playing. If that doesn't help, get a new PC.

Not just for one game.... runescape is a low graphic game, if you lag on that, you need a new pc.

Or try changing world to one like 132?
