Only once did he take me to a football match and he allways gave me advice but becsue he was my sisters realy dad he liked her more and if i was doing somthing and she wanted to do it he would just hit and untill i let her do it, Once he picked me up by the neck and chucked my across the hall. Anybody else feel their father is like your landlord and not a guy who'll take you to the football games or talk to you about cars and girls? Or for the girls d'you feel he's not bothered about you coming in late from a party or stuff like that?
I love my father, because no matter what he says in a negative tone to me, I never take it to heart and I know he still loves me.

You're a typical teenager who obviously finds that their father is always on their back. Get real, see the bigger picture. Why could you not of just said to him that you were listening to your iPod? If he didn't believe you then repeat what you said and show him that your iPod was in your ear. I don't see why banging on the wall could solve anything...

Can you tell me a story of a few things you've done with your father or just tell me a short story of your father, and see if we can pick out the problem

You deserve the muesli. Instead of being a spoilt little brat and hitting the wall and telling him that you hate him. You should of explained that you were listening to your Ipod and that you never heard her. I also agree with FlyingJesus it's a lot harder being a parent than being the spoilt brat who goes crazy after his father shouted at him.

well i am a girl, but i can say i do strongly dislike my dad. My dad is a computer addict, annoys me all the time, and he gets way to angry for little things.

Example: Mom-"Joe dinners ready" Dad-"Hang on" Sit at the table until we're half way through. Mom-"Joe get off the computer and come have dinner with us." Dad-"I'm too busy!"

Example 2: Dad *poke poke poke* Me-"Dad stop please." Dad *poke poke poke* Me-"DAD STOP!" Dad *poke poke poke* Me *walks away* Dad *follows* the whole process repeats over and over again.

Example 3: Me hitting my toe on the table behind me, pushing it into the wall with a low bang. Dad thought i was angrily pushing the table when i just wanted to get it out of my way. Dad "GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW!" me-"Dad i didn't do it on purpose, i was trying to get it out of my way!" Dad "YOUR GROUNDED FOR A WEEK GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW!"

And i'm not lieing about those examples, they've happened and something similar is most likely to happen again.

So yes, i do strongly dislike my dad, but i would have to never say that i hate him.

I'm really quite lucky, my parents are divorced but I get on with both of them really well, and my mum remarried and I get on with my stepdad really well too.
