Ok Still i reckon you can make it look more run down without brown plasto they seem to ruin anything when you add it to a room/ Feature

i like them,

my fav would be the entrance and library

it really seems 2 have a good cluedo atmosphere

Try and Use Grey and White Not brown or any other browns

Also try and aviod the bright colours
