Hobbas were discontinued and Habbo now employ Moderators who moderate the game and do things that Hobbas used to do although Moderators are paid to do their job.

At the end of last year the Hobba program was scrapped worldwide, due to problems with how it works and the power that they had. Now we have moderators (people with the MOD prefix on their names), Habbo X's (normal Habbo's who applied) and the people who were Hobba's now have an Ex-Hobba badge.
