there's a rule of punk which goes, DIY. Do it yourself.

blink were kind of, sort of, on a major label, but no biggy, it's your opinion, im not gonna hate you for it, just im very sensitive when it comes to punk.

believe me i used to think they were punk, till i actually listened to some punk.

Yeah, not a single punk band there, iTunes is a bit rubbish sometimes.

Left For Dead (horror punk)
Balzac (Japanese horror punk)
Against Me! (but only acoustic EP and Reinventing Axl Rose, since signing to Fat Wreck [selling out] they've generally been very disappointing. and
Assorted Jelly Beans (fun ska/pop-punk band)

The Thermals!! They arent local, but they arent huge either. Theyre on sub pop I believe.

They are pop punk, but its great. It reminds me quite a lot of Dookie, some great stuff. Their new album, The Blood The Body The Machine is fantabulous. It was my favorite album of the year.
