Quick question about rune shield or sara book

I have just finished the horror from the deep quest. I got the sara book. I was just woundering what is better? rune shield or complete sara book. I don't know if I should buy all the pages or not.

Obby Sheild
Also for looks - Wooden Sheild look quite ownage.

Rune Kite has better defense stats so use that if you're meleeing. The sara book has better prayer bonus and looks nice so probably wear it while skilling

Depends what creatures ur fighting aswell i use my sara book if i want a mage defence bonus i find it helps rune kite is better stat wise overall though i think
