Pointless letters.

Does your school ever send pointless letters?

I mean I got this, and I haven't even done anything, in my opinion a waste of 2 sheets of paper, ink, postage and royal mails time.

Dear Mrs Cooke,

I regret to inform you that in a recent survey, completed by both staff and students Adam was highlighted as a cause for concern. He is seen by other students as someone who disrupts their learning. The student survey is carried out as part of our monitoring and evaluation process and is used to empower our students to take control of their learning. Staff have also expressed concerns regarding Adam’s effort, behaviour and overall achievenement in lessons.

Clearly this is unacceptable and we need to develop strategies to enable Adam to maximise his learning opportunities and minimise negative impact on the learning of others in school. I would therefore ask you to attend a meeting in January to discuss this issue and also to go through a personal education and pastoral support plan which will be drawn up to help Adam in meeting our School’s code of conduct.


We look forward to meeting you then, and, feel sure that together we can address the issues successfully.

it's just what the secretarys do when theyre bored. They look for people who they can send letters to.
