Yew longs = 550
Nats = 310
they alch for 768?(near enough)

550+
310= 860 losing 100k per 1k

Buy the nats from the mage guild in Yanille. You get about 1k for 220k ish. You'll only lose about 7kish per 1k yew longs :].

Bow Strings = 180 each
Nats = 310
Thats 820 per long

You lose like 40k per 1k alchs. You'd make money if you bought flax
