Gears of war OR Rainbow 6 Vegas ?

Heres the deal, i have played both games and i want to get them both eventually. I want one this week and one after new year but here is my problem. What one first ? I am swaying towards Rainbow 6...

gears of war by far over rainbow six. gears of war if u go online u can download more lvls plus it really never gets boring. rainbow six is still insane but your putting it up against gears of war.

Rainbow Six story is better, but the multiplayer isn't that good.

i have both and here is my opinions:

gears of war: one of the best looking games out for the 360 and the story is sweet but very short and i mean VERY short. online is great for about a week and abit unless they bring out new maps, weapons ect.

rainbow 6: graphics are not the best but still look sweet. story is pretty cool. online (which i know u have) is AMAZING, i have never been so addicted to an online game since halo 2.

personally i would go for rainbow 6
but would u rather have

run and chainsaw(GoW) or tactical shooter with lots of customizable thing (rainbow)
