Well you will need the def up to 20 I think it is to wear the armour and erm just train strength and attack I think.

That's what they wear, mithril deffender and mithril - addy gloves.

Before you start training deffencem ake shure you do nature spirit! Then you wont have to train it...

An Intiate Pure is any combination of:
70 - 99 attack
85 - 99 str
20 defense
43 - 52 prayer (always end up getting 52)
Atleast 70 range for the HP
94 Mage for Ice Barrage

which means no mage =\
plus you would have to switch out between mage/inivite armor just to cast a spell =\
