    Sites, incdredibly basic text based. First thing you want to do is tryt and build a more graphical layout, usieng a few images. i would presonly suggest building it in to a table, as there easy to work with. As well as come up with a struture, aka, top navigtion, bar, then content, possibly a poll, sub nav or somthing as a side bar.

    Use images to giev it the appeance of sticking out of the page with a 3d effect, to allive the planess and have the content so its on a didfrnt could to the mian background "/

    Working on your stuture, this sort of configution (has a side bar)

    HTML Code:
    <table width="98%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
      <tr>
        <td>Link - Link - Link - Link - Link </td>
      </tr>
    </table>
    <table width="98%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
      <tr>
        <td width="18%" valign="top" >Side Bar Conetent
        </td>
        <td width="82%"  valign="top">Main content </td>
      </tr>
    </table>
    Athogh id advice setting background images and colours, aka for teh nav possibly use a gradiant, so as to ad a 3d effect.

    u can add backgroudn images by useing the
    HTML Code:
    background=""
    atrruibue which would go inside the table, along with outher atrubutes, aka width, height, boreder alignment etc etc

    Just add the images URL between the quaotion marks
