Personally I don't know if there's a higher being, but there's no solid evidence either way. However, the amount of knowledge humans actually know is incredibly small -- We know nothing of 99.9% of the universe. Science has evidence for evolution and all that, but they can't explain how life began, one of the biggest questions asked in things relating to both science and religion. So far, none of their ideas have convinced me, because all of them are theories-- and only that. There's no actual proof for any of them.

In the past, the only thing that religion has created is hate & war, so I don't believe in "worship." Christians, Muslims, Jews, and most other religions all have incredibly violent histories, all because of a few stories and so-called "holy" books that we don't even know are true.

It's just a load of rubbish if you ask me, i mean, how could anyone believe that there is someone up in "heaven" watching us? Don't you think, he could try and stop things happening, so the earth was a more peaceful place & stuff?

This is quite a stupid & often used 'reason' as to why there isn't a God. Since 'God' gave everyone free will then why would he interfere with a few things? If you look at it in the Buddhist approach then those bad things that happen are a result of someone doing something bad in the first place.

Myself, I am pretty much agnostic. I don't know whether there is God(s) or not so I just choose to look at both sides of the story. However I'm not going to take the pee out of someone for believing in a religion, because they have faith - respect.

Who says that a god or gods have to be peaceful and friendly? If I was a god I'd use my creation to test out how stuff works, see what certain mixes of DNA and such can do. Bit of a laugh really, y'know?

I don't know if it applies to everyone, but I know for sure that (on more than one occasion) I've made something just to destroy it.
