Thats basically what you want, you, the offender, to be given priority over someone who could have better things to do. That's a good example. Another few real life examples that are even more like this:

1.) A bad website - Do the police / authorities / hosting allow you to make a backup of your website and email you before they take it down? You may be sent a cease and desist letter from a company, but the authorities don't wait and shut you down.

That applies to a bad signature, but really an innapropriate signature you can't say we should PM you it. Here's an example of something being too big.

2.) Exceeding your bandwith - If you exceed your bandwith for the month does your server warn you before they suspend your account? No they just do it and your site is unaccesible and you have to pay more if you want to keep it up.

I dont understand that example. They do ask questions before they punish, thats what the criminal justice system is for...
