    Default Whatever Remains

Well since I got my job back as Writer in September I haven't really wrote anything here exclusivly for here so here we are. This is a poem about being so broken hearted nothing is left.

    Time has moved on
    Yet still I have not
    I lie in darkness
My tears are my own company
    Shelved by your anger
    Shattered by you again
Your love is something I'll never get over
I believe it is called Denial
The state of mind which tells us not to believe
I wish this were all a lie
    Something that I could ignore
    But no
The sudden breeze in the hallway
Is a stark reminder of the truth
    I'm left completely shattered
A broken man because of you
    Sometimes I feel strong enough
    To let in some light
But that just makes me see myself
    And I can't handle that
    Thinking makes me realise
The nothing now will ever be the same
    So I lie hear numbly
    Grasping on to whatever remains.
