The only thing I know we all want is: ROOM OWNER CAN MUTE THE WHOLE ROOM & KICK WHOLE ROOM AND SEND ROOM ALERTS LIKE A MOD BUT JUST IN YOUR OWN ROOM, YOU NO IT.

Thats what I thought, it's only muting him for you. I bet all the newbs will be like "OMGZZ I'VE GOT MOD POWERS!!! I WILL MUTE YOU!!"

I think the reason they're changing it will kind of help the newbs. When I was a newb I wondered what the ignore button does, as it doesn't really tell you. But mute is obvious, so it's to help the newbies I expect.

I never use it, only when muting people in quizs and celebrity visits for screenshots. But when someones flooding in the welcome lounge I usually just shout "DO YOU HAVE FOMO!? USE THE IGNORE BUTTON TO MUTE THE FLOODERS" like a right suck-up, I don't know I just always do.
