Well it's because 5 didgit numbers are the number of didgits in credits codes. Because of scams such as: Call this number and put in this number to get free creds!

erm sorry To Contradict You But That Isnt The Original Reson. Mite B wrong Tho. However Habbo Said That The Original Reson Was To Stop Habbos From Giving Out Their Fone Numbers And As A Bonus Disabled Scripted Fotos! After tThe Number Filter Was Activated Is Wen Ppl Figured Out Free Codes Numbers. Not To B RudeIt costs nothing to be a good friend.

Ya there is scammers that uses their habbo idea in the phone line and tell people to dial this number to get free credits. Plus, alot of Habbos give their phone number, wich cannot be good.
