    Default Alton Towers, March 24th..

    Hider..

Anybody at Alton Towers on March 23rd or 24th?

Queues should be pretty short, max of 20 minutes on the 24th proberbly walk on, on the 23rd (Friday).

Im not a Alton Towers geek anymore, I pretty much dislike the place - Take one look at Universal's Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios in Orlando, tell me which you would rather visit.. Hmmmm, come on Tussauds - You need to do a hell of alot better, theming counts!

    Anywayyyy, anyone there?

Im sure every other themepark does aswell..

Alton Towers are more into "lets just get more stuff" instead of making the place actually look nice!

Something I am impressed with which I first laughed at are the new turnstyles.. You are now able to buy tickets via the phone or internet and get your barcode SMS'd to do you so just scan your SMS on the scanner and the turnstyle opens - Which is pretty cool.

However, I shall be going to guest services and making a suggestion they sort the theming out

Well hopefully with the new Alton Towers Customer Council which I have applied for, people will be able to voice there thoughts of Alton Towers and suggest ideas to improve.

    Customer Council:

Alton Towers are undertaking an exciting new initiative, which you have the chance to be a part of.
The park are creating a Customer Council, to allow them to get feedback on current and future ideas, and you could be on it. To find out how, read on...

    ALTON TOWERS NEEDS YOU!!!!

As we move into the 2007 season, Alton Towers is aiming to set up a "Customer Council": a brand new way of listening to what our guests are telling us. As well as providing us with an invaluable research tool, it could also be an excellent opportunity for you to spend some time with the Alton Towers management team, putting across your views and gaining a unique insight into our future plans. We're looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable and creative applicants, who also have an understanding of the realities of running a business. Naturally we will expect you to maintain complete confidentiality, and you will be asked to complete an agreement to this effect.

I think it's quite cool cause I can't go to America or anything =D
But the queues are always horrible in July =[

Favourite is Nemesis, obviousaly. She is one of a kind, better than most of the coasters in Orlando!

Heared of fastrack? - £7 for one ride on; Air, Nemesis, Oblivion and The Flume experiencing a queue of 10 minutes or less.

queues aren't so bad, nothing compared to US themeparks, in the morning and afternoon aren't so bad, its just 11-4 that is bad

Also, single rider queues are always worth a go, if you don't mind getting split up.

Nah Alton Towers doesn't get queues as bad as America, well they do but very very rarely.

I've actually seen queues longer than Orlando in Alton Towers, well maybe thats because most rides in Orlando where walk on or station queue only.. So max of 3 minutes - Most I queued in Orlando was 10 minutes for dueling dragons because it was on 1 train.
