    O's Loan Norwich's Jarvis

NORWICH CITY striker Ryan Jarvis has signed for Orient on a month-long loan deal.

Jarvis, 20, is a product of the Canaries' youth system and has made nearly 30 appearances at Championship level.

He became Norwich's youngest ever player when he made his debut as a 16-year-old at Walsall in April 2003, and after continuing to develop his game at an impressive rate, he earned a call-up to the England under-19 squad for the UEFA European Championship finals in 2005 - a tournament that saw England finish as runners-up to France.

Described as a player with great technique and the vision to create chances for others, Fakenham-born Jarvis, whose brother Rossi also plays for Norwich, will be looking to impress during his four weeks at Brisbane Road.

Manager Martin Ling said: "We've needed to add a forward to the squad ever since Paul Connor was sold to Cheltenham, so I'm delighted to welcome Ryan to the club.

"He's played a good number of games at Championship level and has also represented his country so I'm looking forward to seeing the impact he has on the team."

I would agree with what Hazel said. Good move for Orient especially with the lack of strikers. I think he could do well with Gary Alexander

mate, adriano would be rubbish with our gary alexander, the guy is rubbish, he faked an injury on staurday when he lost the ball and we had to put a CB up front.

also; thats the second norwich or ex norwich player we;ve bought in the last month, with Phil Mulryne, who is rubbish i might add .

He better not be playing on Saturday, if it's the guy i'm thinking of.. Is it the Jarvis who used to play fairly often when Norwich were in the Premier****?
