The reason Habbo have starting naming the updates "Release" is there are plans of a "Habbo Hotel Version 2" which will consist of stronger graphics that are 3D. I'm also lead to believe that Version 2 will be more town like instead of a Hotel.

Maybe thats why all habbo hotels are now called as habbo? No more in hotel, now whole HABBO world!

Habbo Hotel Version 2 was officially announced that it wasn't being released, it was a project they started late 2001, they cancelled it in early 2002.

Didn't someone find a screenie last year or something.
It would definately explain calling them releases and the website name change.
