Put it this way, my friend slits his wrists because his mother is beaten by his dad. The mum is in denile by it and trys to keep everything together by when he goes to phycatrists in the hospital hes told he cant say anything about his mum getting beaten otherwise he'll loose certain privlages and items.

He also got told that when he reaches 16, he has to leave or pay a £25 week rent. So yes, there are other people in certain situations worse than yours. Think about how lucky you are to have a mother, even though she drinks she still loves you.

Ur at that age where u need to start creating your own life. U cant just sit there and expect everything to go your way, for life and the people in it to change for you.
You say your the only bloke in a housefull of girls then maybe join some sort of sports team your intrested in, make some more guy mates and spend time with them!
As for the girlfriend thing, trust me, wer more trouble then wer worth :p
and nobody can love uu till u love yourself so work on that before you worry about other people.
