Im not been mean but, not everyone likes boys with long/ish hair either so you can guarantee people didnt like your old hairstyle so just get on with it ;]

Most lads I know wouldn't be bothered and would just take it as a joke anyway.
OK so the haircut didn't go right... most people have a bad hair day or 2 in their lifetime

Make a joke about it before they do.... tell them you really upset the harirdresser half way through and this is what happened!
