I'm kinda new to Wii, just wanting to know what you can actually do when you go on wireless?

If you mean when you connect it to the internet you can:
use the weather and news channels
use the wii shop channel - buy retro games, get the internet and voting channel.
You will get Mii's in your mii parade
also the main menu part takes a bit to load a bit after though.

I wanted the Wii to be like Xbox where you can play against people online. Wii tennis against someody.. I'd own haha.

Yes... Playing games through wireless has been around for a long time, you can even do it with wires... I can't wait for it to come to the Wii
