florida's panhandle will be 65% underwater within 150 years if pollution continues at the rate that is is at

    but anyway

    global warming.

a super powerful solar flare that wipes out power in new york city (or some other super large city) that starts to knock out most of the continent's electricity, causing all refrigerators to stop working, causing food to rott, causing transportation to not work without gas pumps, trade to stop impors and exports, panicking people, no computers for the government to use, and loads more. it may not end the human race, but it could be a big impact.

    asteroid hitting earth.

the sun contracting and causing the world to become freezing

    nuclear winter.

i have loads more possibilities, but i tend not to really care anymore.

Apparently the world will end friday 13th in 2012 but they said that would happen like a few years ago...a meteor just skimmed our surfaces.. i remember watching the shooting stars that was beautiful but i was thinking 'my word we could have been hit..'

Those woudl have been the times I was thinking of. But considering our world is meant to end...is there really any worry about global warming and stuff? Really what they should be worrying about is getting us off the planet somehow if we were to defintely be in some sort of huge natural disaster to the planet?

They should think of a way to put a giant bubble over Mars and make us move there.

i was watching something and they said that they might start building large factories on mars to put the green-house gas effect on mars to thicken the atmosphere so that we could move there somehow.

But would we want to live on Mars? Being able to see Earth so closely would be depressing..also getting through the asteroid belts woudl be dodgy...perhaps they should try Venus instead....it is the evil twin of Earth atm but remove the compression factor and sorting out the heat would get some sort of breakthrough...

I was talking in telescopic terms.
But how come if Mars is smaller can you see it as a tiny dot by naked eye on an extremely clear night?
