I have this problem too, I get an error code come up (can't remember it offhand) and i'm still trying to figure out what to do to sort it.

Right, my friend has a problem with his MSN, when he signs onto messenger it freezes and he cannot do anything, anyone got any advice how he can sort it?

but it's not just his computer lol, it froze on mine, someone sent him loads of smileys when he was offline ><

Thats probs why then if someone sends him a load of smileys everytime he's offline his computer will freeze lol. Just sign in as appear offline wait a while and then just close the convo

When I had WLM I had loads of problems, this one sometimes but more often it would just sign me out randomly. What you need to do is uninstall it and download an old version (I use 7.5). It won't have the newest features but it's still decent and most importantly it works. I prefer this version anyway tbh.
