New GTA IV facts

I quite like the sound of some of these new features, and how Rockstar are going for a different approace towards the characters role, it's about time we got a proper GTA when your character doesn't want to be in all the mess of crime, the thing about planes is a bit disapointing but hopefully it'll be just like New York

Yea but in my opinion LCS and VCS are not real GTA games, GTA, GTA2, GTA3 and GTA4 are the only real GTA's, everything else is just a side project to me

That's a real dissapointment there are no planes and no wide open spaces. I was hoping for some much better planes like in SA. Did rockstar announce the lack of planes officialy?

Do you know if you can still
- Buy up lots of property with missions/tasks and things
- customise your outfit and cars
because they made SA and Vice city better. In Vice city I liked how you could rob a store and especially the proper bank robery. I hope that will be available in GTA 4. Not only that but I want buildings that you could like, drive a car into and it would show some damage but I don't expect that at all. *+*+*+*DREAMZ*+*+*+*

Maybe the big ships will make up for the planes.

I heard there are airplanes but in the air, also police helicopters/press helicopters land after a while so you can steal them while on the run, also same as sa you have to eat/drink/ and you also sweat so you have to have showers each few days.

I remember in Vice City a building you can drive into with a bike and then jump out of the windows about halfway up in the building. Although I would love it if they expand on this and have it so any room and floor is accessible, even if it requires floors to be knocked down or doors blown up

I think the plane idea causes a problem for them. They want to make it realistic, and flying into a building which causes no damage other than to you, the passengers and the plane isn't very realistic...

Does sound like fun though I just need to decide to get an Xbox or a PS3. My bets on Xbox.
