I will only reply to two main comments, about the hackings themselves and our so called lax security.
Firstly, from what I understand, Mr. MAD or Mr. Sierk asked the hosting company to reformat HabboxForum.com to upgrade the MYSQL or something similar. The hosting company then acted like bumbleheaded professionals and in a move a 5 year old would not have made they managed to delete Habbox.com. I think what happened then was with Habbox.com deleted, the hacker was able to procure the domain, which he proceeded to take advantage of. There was some deletion of the forum DB as well and a hacking and we're not sure how that happened (well atleast I'm not, sierk and 8F8 probably know), certain details probably won't be released.
In regards to our security: HabboHotel.com, an official business with a full professional team of adults that is probably 10x the size of the Habbox technical and security team, was infiltrated by a single individual on multiple occasions. Nothing will be perfect. People might argue that certain fansites don't get hacked at all. Well that's because its not as big a target. Hacking Habbox is something more people try to do, just because hacking Habbox may be bigger than hacking something like www.habbofansite.com (I won't use a real fan site due to the obvious resulting backlash from its users). But Habbox is a target, and with an all volunteer squad we have fairly decent security, very good security actually. We have one of the best in the business, or at least had in the form of James, and Tom is a top-notch server technician who really knows what he's doing. Considering the fact that all these people do their jobs just for the sheer enjoyment of it and for pretty much nothing at all, Habbox has absolutely phenomenal security.
It costs nothing to be a good friend.

But the support hosting tech should have took a backup before they did it, I am very unsure to why they didn't take one.Originally Posted by nvrspk4

Habbox.com domain was stolen and the hacker had access to our Habbox.com full as well which is why we had to reformat that server as well as the habboxforum.com server just incase he bugged them.

Grats for getting it up but surely if something is going to happen to the databases or their software, it would be wise to do a backup of the databases first?
