It's completely normal dude. Everybody gets it. it means you hit the ground at a wrong angle.. It normally happens when you hit the floor with your feet falling flat on the ground.

Next time you jump, try springing on the front pads of your feet instead of using the back balls of your feet(heels) or landing with your feet flat.

Nothing to worry about. I would learn to land differently though.. It's quite painful.. i know! hehe

You should'nt land on your front pads as its bad for posture and with enough pressure can break your toes. do you get the same pain after walking for say 1-2 hours? Do you get it after doing lots of running/exersize? If the answer to theese are yes it could be a condition called plantarfaciitus which is caused by the plantar fascia (which is a draping tendant from the heel to the ball of the foot) Inflaming. If this is the case try taking nurofen and/or paracetamol. If it gets worse talk to your gp

as you havent said what you jump off when this occurs because obviously your not jumping from the floor
if your jumping from fences/walls and want no pain you might wanna learn to fall on the front off your feet (underneath toes ish) and roll and gte back up if you know what i mean

also when you jump off try bend your knees while landing (common sense really lol) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15PxoqdBNtY video

    gief talent to me pls
