They're all good, I prefer GoW single player to the online, B2MC is awesome but can take some getting used too and Oblivion is the same as B2MC but only two words are needed to explain in - "Simply amazing"

at a later date when released I'd reccommend,

Halo 3
GTA 4
Assassins Creed
And some others but I can't remember them right now

Ye, I've only tried the GoW Multiplayer once didn't really like it.
I had BF2MC for the Xbox and it's all I played on when I got Xbox live amazing, getting the 360 version this weekend.
Oblivion can be tricky and frustrating at times but as you said the graphics are "simply amazing"

Can't wait for Halo 3 I didn't like the second one much but thats like all games, the first is the best imo.

To get Xbox live just go to any store that sells games such as GAME or gamestation and ask for a "Gold XboxLive Membership Card" That will set you back £40 for a years subscription of XboxLive.
I would explain how to set up your XboxLive but it is incredibly simple practically just plug it into your router but if you do get stuck go to www.xbox.com and go onto XboxLive and then setting up or w.e
