The original Digimon toys were quite cool, Pokémon completely wins this though. The cards were the best fad in middle school (1998-2002 for me), even better than yo-yos, and the TV show was wicked too.

pokemon was far best the biggest at my primary school in cards the games and the programmes

then in year 6 yu gi oh cards became huge but not as big as pokemon

digimon was a load of crap tbh
