Yeah.. a set-up or something. It just sounds too dodgy. No successful proper parent like them in there right mind would do what they did.

Yeah this thread is totally true.
If the little girl is found she should be put into care because personally i wouldn't want to have parents like that. They were strangers in the country and they leave there child in an appartment, even if they keep checking on her every 30 minutes. This isn't good enough. My point being they shouldn't even have children if they're going to treat them like this. They're only saying 'We believe Madine is safe, and she's still alive' this is just an assumption, i do hope she's alright.
I've been here since the beginning, I've been here forever and I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.

I have been thinking it was a set up as well, just like Ezzie I get a weird feeling from all the family (especially up here in Scotland).

I mean if she was abducted (which no doubt she was) why were her twin siblings left as well? Leaving three kids alone is disgraceful in my opinion. Now the family are trying to get the Government to help out but what I question is: Why is this case so special? What about the other child abductions that happen here and abroad?

I do still hope the little girl is alive and safe but I believe the parents should be charged in a way for providing such an easy plan to be carried out.

I agree, everyone moans at me about it but that's my opinion.
Obviously I'd like to see her return but I don't want it to be on my TV everytime I turn it on, I don't want people pasting to me every 5 minutes chain letters about her on MSN etc

I sort of agree but maybe the mom thought nothing of it. Sometimes, we don't even realize what we're doing so maybe she didn't. I wouldn't charge her. There are times when we leave our kids alone but you don't leave your kid alone in a place where there are tons of people && you don't know if their safe or not because you don't know who's there.

It's her fault that someone else abducted her kids? Maybe some of her actions made it easier for the abductors, but how does that make it her fault? If you leave your bike unlocked outside a store and it gets stolen, how is it your fault more than it is the person who stole it?

As you left it unlocked, its just begging to be stolen.

But where does precaution end and paranoia begin? If there were a man that snuck in your closet at night, and came out once you were asleep and killed you, were you begging to be killed because you didnt check your closet before you went to bed? I could think of a million different scenarios, and each one of them can have a way that the victim could have prevented it, but no one ever thinks about the unlikely.
