    Default Ears pierced

Yeah so I got both of my ears(the lobes) pierced today and I bought some diamond studs and I'm wanting to change my studs as soon as. It's recommended to leave them in there for 6 weeks but I'd prefer to just put my diamond studs in! I've got the cleaning solution aswell. Just wondering is there any way I can just switch them over and leave the diamond ones in for like 6 weeks? And how long was it after you had your ear(s) pierced did you switch the studs?

They say like 4/6 weeks, but I can't really see any reason why you can't switch them if you like, do it quick, keep them clean, and keep twisting them [thats what I was told, so they don't close up around the earring]

i was going to keep the stud in for the whole 6weeks, but i ended up changing it over to the diamond after 2/3 days. it never done any harm, just make sure you do it fairly quick.

They recommend 6 weeks because the studs you would have been pierced with are thicker in order to prevent them healing. I wouldn't change them otherwise your lobe might heal over. So I wouldn't recommend it I understand the wanting though. But 6 weeks passes quickly hehe.

When I got my left one done when I was 5 I left it in for 6 weeks, but when I got my right one done when I was 15, I left it in for 3 weeks but kept cleaning it and it came out fine.
