From my perspective, Habbo UK is losing players fast, as a matter of fact, all hotels are. Habbo is getting boring, nothing new is coming out. Players are getting sick of the same old content, now with Retro's and stuff we can look up in the externals what rares are coming, it's not even a suprise anymore. Half the staff barely do anything, Lost_witness is on holidays half the time, they bring out crap rares which don't need to be brung out. The competitions are so crap, prices of everything are falling because of the lack of interest in the hotel. They are hoping trax will be a one-hit-wonder and bring some people back but I fail to see how some lame habbo tunes which a pre-schooler listens to will bring people back. In staff competitions it's usually favorites which wins. The Habbo interface is to intimidating and big for new people to understand, now with Habbo Homes, Groups and everything even I get lost sometimes . The only thing I could see Habbo do to get back players is release a Habbo #2 or Beta or something new because if they don't by the end of the year I can see about 4000 at peak times left.

As you said, Habbos can look up the external texts to see what rare is coming out. It is NOT Habbo Hotel's fault if the average Habbo user is suspicious of what is happening next. Granted, they could hide the texts, but there must be some reason as to why they don't. You say you are bored with the same old content? In my opinion, Habbo just release new content which is badly advertised or does not really amaze a Habbo user and you contradict yourself by saying they release the same old content, but you can find it out before hand...

I agree that the staff barely do anything. I have pondered over why they don't and I think they should have some blame come to think of it for why Habbos are bored, not just the Habbo itself. One problem is, Habbos who have been on the hotel since around 2002/2004 are realizing that nothing new is happening, because everything has been done or can possibly be done. The idea that all competition winners are staff favourites is a terrible generalization, I would say a majority of Habbo Competitions are won by unknown Habbo members, but the big competitions tend to be won by mainly long-time players, who are willing to play the competitions from start to end. Some Habbos aren't as "interested" as they are.

But I agree that Habbo should release something new. They should scrap the boring Hotel idea and think about towns, villages and cities. Maybe a Habbo World? Where you can travel from towns, villages and cities to other places? Buy a house and do it up and customise it. Although I can see it just being another over-the-top money making schemes, with about 10 credits per house or room because the customisation method would make Habbo scream with glee over the idea of using it to make money.

By same old content I mean recolours, iced furni, mode, gothic and stuff, and by content I'm not just referring to rares, I mean there is no new interface, the Habbo Homes and Groups arn't even anything, a majority of people who know a thing about Habbo would agree with me and say that there is nothing special about it, there is no desire to log on anymore.

Take getting a badge for example, badges back in 05 were something that were respected and exciting, it was a privledge because you knew you earnt it, now with Habbo groups everybody gets one. This is where you reply "Yeah but you can still show the earnt badges", sure you can, but it still doesn't give a good impression. Now with Habbo X / Safety X apps out another good 100 people I reckon will get in with the new categories. All these given out badges as seen on Retros are absolute poo

I definitly agree that they need to advertise on TV and Radio, get a spot in the good times right after school on TV and on the radio to school. Just little stuff like that so new-comers ca check out the hotel.

The towns/citys idea would make Habbo one of the biggest Online Games I think.

If numberskeep falling I can see Sulake perhaps selling the brandHabbo and maybe another company will expand the game into a Village/City with all different things to do like go and fight in the mountains (Like Runescape) and perhaps have things like horse racing, go karts, fairs etc.

Indeed, I remember back when Jibbi was HM, all the staff were entertaining and you could relate to each of them, and pick a favourite. Nowadays you would just pick the HM or the one you most know, while back when Jibbi was around, you could identify and know a little about the staff. Like with the newsie you would get little snippets of info, like Dionysus was a ninja, Glitterkat likes cats and Jibbi... Was Jibbi...

I've not really got a problem with them to be honest, you can get your favourite furniture in your favourite colour to match your room. But I think a wider selection of a type of furniture is needed, not just a variety of colours with a specific type of furniture.

The quoted bit "Yeah, but you can still show the earnt badges" wasn't what I was going to say. To be honest, I really dislike the large amounts of badges. All Habbo need are:

HC Badges
Staff Badges
Habbo eXpert Badges

The rest should be strictly temporary really, for during the event and maybe a week or 2 afterwards. People would get bored of that "special" badge and the novelty would soon wear off.

The group idea was good before it was released, but too many people made groups and most of them are useless. Maybe Habbo should of distributed the idea to people who really needed them, like fansites, but how they would do that is beyond me.

The connection they have with staff is probably because they join in alot. It would be rude if the staff didn't talk to them. If Habbo give them a bigger chance of winning a competition, then that is just unfair but you can't really do anything about it. You just have to put up with it really. Sadly.
I find people calling Staff by their real names extremely frustrating too If the Staff member actually puts up on the main site or his mission "Call me Chris" then you can personally relate to him in some way, but if they don't, then calling them by their first name because you think you are cool, and best mates, is kinda sad. Because in reality, they care very little for you.

True it would be a big project, but if they do it right it would be amazing. I would even return just to see what it is like! They can use the feature with big public rooms that take up two rooms with this idea, to go to another area, just click the arrow. But it would be in private room scale, not public room. But that's just me using my imagination

It is good. I just hope they don't have that annoying cartoon thing they had which involved Habbos and a competition on the home page. We're teens, not 5 year olds.

That's still a mindset they have I think. They still think most of us are innocent 11 year olds who love Habbo the way it is and just want everything to be the same. I would say 60% of users are 15 or older, and a lot of them are growing out of Habbo. The whole cartoon issues, the way they treat us like 5 year olds. A good example is the mothers day poem "Show your Mum just how much you love her on Habbo" I mean come on, they really need to find something to keep the older people attached.

I agree that all Hotels should get things released at the same time, I'm bored of Romantique furni and we don't even have it yet ahahhaa. Same with Trax, I know they have to test it but .FI and .NL have had it months now When we get the version we are made to wait even longer, which is lame. They should update all the hotels with the same version and once they have then release new things all at the same time blah blah, Most people have said this but I'm just in the mood to ramble
