I totally agree bullguard is a bad recommendation. Like most businesses and school systems I use sophos. With zonealarm running I've had no viruses since my last reformat as of yet.

zone alrams a fire wlall not an antivirus? bull grad ive never used under the recommnition of it being a pease of "bobba" AVG is free and works fine, adaware (;lavasoft is free, and works fine (spywere sweeper) zone larn is free and works fine, plus all hav better pay for vesions also, macaffie also works fine, unlike "bobba" like norton.

Norton is bad because is does track viruses but doesnt always pick them up and delete them. I have had 3 viruses on this pc but my parents still don't wanna change. Do NOT use bull, it mucked my pc up big time where whenever we booted up the pc bull came on and it froze so we couldnt uninstall it. My dad somehow got PC to work again. :s

Sophos is the best, that's it.

Alot of you have said about Ad-aware, well, it doesn't delete all spyware or adware. In fact, it puts adware on to your computer.
